Received the second call today. The first was 06/08/12. It is the NRA and there is no way to be taken off their list. While they have a non-profit branch they are neither non-profit or a registered political party, so these RoboCalls are illegal!. The NRA, run by Wayne Lapier, is nothing more than a very powerful business. A business that is scared silly that Democrats will come into power and answer the public outcry after the Aurora, CO massacre, for increased firearm regulations, including limits on ammo. The NRA hides behind the 2nd. Amendment, a VERY powerful lobby financed by the munitions manufacturers and the gun-crazies. There argument that a well-armed populace would decrease firearm related crime has been proven spurious. Bottom-line: Report to the FTC and FCC. Point out the illegal robocall and lack of ability to be removed from the required company list. Vote Democrat.Call blocking only works for the individual. The NRA and it's blood-brother telemarketers need to be shout down, and no Republican will ever do that.
WOW, you took full advantage to spout the liberal agenda as you have been conditioned to believe in a phone forum. So, I shall respond. I am a retired 30 year law enforcement officer, a retired 21 year active and reserve Army officer, and a combat veteran of Iraqi Freedom. Liberals will never learn that you cannot legislate gun laws that criminals will adhere to. Our most resent mass killings have been occurring in places where law abiding people with carry concealed permits have been restricted from being armed. After the first round was fired by Holmes in the Aurora movie theater, a dozen trained and lawfully carrying armed citizens should have ended his terror, but they were restricted from being armed. One can look at the severe gun restrictions in the liberal havens, such as Chicago, DC, Stockton, etc, and see that the gun laws have no effect on the criminals and crime, just the law abiding.
Having said that, it is irritating getting the constant calls and mailings from the NRA. It is also irritating receiving the constant e-mails begging for contributions to Obama's campaign.

Your reply is well delivered. You might however be interested in the fact that the NRA that Comrad Wilson is talking about is not the National Rifle Association it is the National Recovery Agency a collection agency. Now why would such and oustanding liberal such as Comrad Wilson be receiving calls from a scab collection agency. Would it be that he did not receive his welfare check for NOT WORKING as Obama has proposed and he was not able to make his payment on his new 60" TV?
Caller: National Recovery Agency
Call type: Debt collector
This Porcon Calls me
Caller: Tool free
Call-back feature connected me to the NRA. If you choose option #1 (More information) and wait a few seconds into the spiel you are given an option to be removed from their calling list. (Option #3 - then you enter your ten-digit phone number)
Let's just hope it works. It's been hit or miss with other annoying robo-calling jerks.
I called the # and it stated it was the National Rifle Association on their answering machine
Call type: Political call
Steve Wilson, By simply listening to the options, you would learn there is indeed a way to be removed from the call list. But, like any typical knee-jerk reactionary liberal, you created in your own mind an entire and erroneous saga based on the fragment of actual data you bothered to listen to.
